Whale Watching Season Commences
From May to November each year a number of species of whales can be seen of off the South Coast and in Jervis Bay on their annual migrations. Jervis Bay Whales run regular whale watching cruises throughout the season from Huskisson on Jervis Bay. Whales have recently been sighted by guests from Ulladulla Headland Tourist Park, from the park's viewing platform that overlooks the harbour and northern coastline.

Holiday Activities Program
Over the Summer and Easter Holidays many of the Holiday Haven Tourist Parks hosted a number of fun activities in the park. Some of the activities included Laser Skirmish at Lake Tabourie and Ulladulla, Movie Nights at Burrill Lake, Astronomy Nights at Currarong and Crookhaven, National Parks Day at Bendalong and Swan Lake, Fishing Competition at Shoalhaven Heads and Boot Camp at Huskisson White Sands.

Holiday Haven Wins Awards
Kangaroo Valley Tourist Park wins South Coast Tourism Award for New Tourist Development for the Canoe and Kayak Tours operation. In 2008 the park set up a Canoe and Kayak Tours operation. So far approximately 3000 people have experienced the self guided tours of the Kangaroo River.
Ulladulla Headland Tourist Park wins Bronze Award in South Coast Tourism Awards in Caravan and Tourist Park category.
