It’s a brand new year, with 12 months stretching out on the calendar like an invitation to explore, play and experience all that the Shoalhaven region on the NSW South Coast has to offer. If you’re visiting the region, you’re going to need to base yourself somewhere, and as it happens, 12 is also the number of Holiday Haven Parks dotted merrily across the map – from Kangaroo Valley to Lake Tabourie, and everything in between.

So grab your diary and get ready to block it out, because these dozen Parks are waiting to say hello to you in 2023. Which ones will YOU choose?


Kangaroo Valley

Whatever the reason for your journey from organising your wedding to a quick stop over, Holiday Haven Kangaroo Valley is the perfect destination. This really is the ultimate country holiday – loaded with charm, rolling paddocks, a local historic village, and spectacular views. You’ll know where you are when you see the iconic Hampden Bridge, Australia’s last surviving suspension bridge built in 1895. Another iconic wonder is the Kangaroo River, which is easy to meander your way along its ancient sandstone banks by canoe or kayak – catching glimpses of local wildlife like water dragons and a variety of beautiful birds along the way!

This Park also offers superb access to one of Australia’s best deepwater and estuarine fishing areas, making it an angler’s paradise. With direct access to the beach, Holiday Haven Culburra Beach is the perfect destination for those seeking sand and sun – with waves for all surfing levels and plenty of space for the kids to play on the beach. 


Currarong

Holiday Haven Currarong is ideally located on the northern edge of the Jervis Bay Marine Park and home to some spectacular land-based and game fishing and amazing natural wonders. It’s a great spot to create special family memories full of holiday fun with their award winning pool, splashpad, mini golf and jumping pillow. Set amongst a sleepy coastal town, the park also enjoys direct access to Warrain Beach and Currarong Creek, perfect for swimming, kayaking and paddleboarding. This Park is also a perfect base to explore nearby wonders like Jervis Bay, Beecroft Peninsula, Point Perpendicular Lighthouse, Long Beach and Honeymoon Bay, awash with spectacular coastal bushwalks and walking and mountain bike trails. ⁠

Holiday Haven White Sands is known as "the park on the point’ at Huskisson, with uninterrupted views across Jervis Bay and direct access to Huskisson Beach. Superbly located just a short 10-minute stroll to clubs, pubs, dolphin and whale watching cruises, shops, cafes and restaurants, you won’t need your vehicle once you park up for the first time. The bayside walking and cycling paths run right past the Park, although you don’t need to go anywhere for a great range of activities for the young and the young at heart including swimming, paddle boarding, picnics, BBQs and more. Bendalong

Holiday Haven Bendalong is a paradise for anyone wanting to relax, take a breathtaking bushwalk, indulge in a crystal water swim and enjoy everything nature has to offer. You can catch dinner fishing from the boat harbour or catch an epic wave that dreams are made of. Nestled amongst tall eucalypts, Bendalong boasts plenty of options – Inyadda Beach and its surf breaks, as well as the calm waters of Washerwoman’s and Boat Harbour Beach. The Park is also home to resident wildlife – native birds, possums, kangaroos, and even stingrays off the local boat ramp, making it the perfect location to escape it all and reconnect with the great outdoors⁠.
