Our teams are continuing to monitor the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) updates released from the World Health Organisation and Australian Government Department of Health, and will continue to respond based on the best advice provided.

To ensure the safety of all guests, staff, and the community Holiday Haven has introduced new rules and guidelines across all Holiday Haven parks.

COVID-19 Changes:

  • Express check-in process (selected parks)
  • Pre-arrival medical form
  • Stay 1.5m away from others
  • Practice good hand hygiene
  • Frequent cleaning of high touch areas
  • Hand sanitiser stations installed
  • Restricted access to facilities
  • Gatherings restricted to max 30¬†people
  • Day visitors must register with reception

Guest FAQs

To provide guests with peace of mind when booking at any Holiday Haven Park we have allowed some flexibility in our cancellation policy. The flexible refund and cancellation policy below applies to bookings due to arrive before October 2020.

  • Bookings canceled up to 72 hours prior to arrival will have the balance refunded less a cancellation fee of $50 for cabins & $20 for sites.
  • Bookings canceled within 72 hours prior to arrival will be offered a twelve-month credit for the balance of the booking, or a cancellation fee of 100% of the booking will apply. 

Management reserve the right to waive cancellation fees, or provide a full refund if guests are canceling for any of the following reasons: 

  • The guest or an immediate family member test positive to COVID-19
  • The guest is forced to self-isolate
  • The guest is awaiting the test results of a COVID-19 test
  • A state or government directive is issued, affecting the guest's ability to travel to or from their destination

For bookings arriving on or after the 1st of October 2020, we will continue to monitor the situation and review the latest advice from the NSW Government.

Communal amenities and recreation facilities will be restricted in order to meet social distancing requirements. Signage will be placed around the park outlining the number of persons allowed on or inside a facility at any given time. If the facility is at capacity we ask that you wait outside and practice social distancing.

Pets are welcome to stay at pet-friendly parks. For more information, please see our pet-friendly policy.

Unfortunately, no kids school holiday activities will be running at this stage due to social distancing practices. Please check out our Facebook page for any updates.

We are accepting groups, however outdoor gatherings in the park will be restricted to a maximum of 30 guests at a time as per the NSW Public Health Guidelines, social distancing should be practiced.

Day visitors are allowed in the park, but to ensure the safety of our staff and guests, it is a requirement that all day visitors to the park register at reception and complete the pre-arrival medical form before entering the park.

While we pride ourselves on maintaining high standards of cleaning year round, we have implemented additional procedures, including regular cleaning of high touch surfaces.

  • Contact reception and notify park management of your condition
  • If you are required to complete a COVID-19 test, you can find the closet local testing facility at www.nsw.gov.au/covid-19/how-to-protect-yourself-and-others/clinics
  • Cabin guests may remain in the park whilst awaiting the results, however must self-isolate in your cabin. Camping guests may be required to leave the park and isolate at home
  • Once the results are received please notify park management immediately
  • If your test results is positive please notify management and leave the property immediately, do not make contact with any other guests or staff on departure
