Jervis Bay is the Shoalhaven’s prominent marine and coastal playground – its impossibly clean sands and sparkling water rivalling any location along the entire NSW coast. There’s even a powered site for those turning up after hours, for complete peace of mind!

Kids big and small will gravitate to the playground, swimming pool, tennis court and climbing park, while everyone can make a splash in the bay thanks to SUP and kayak hire. Cycling and walking is also a great way to get around – with the Huskisson to Vincentia path easy to access and wide flat roads and paths in each direction. Bliss!

Local Attractions

With a name like “Huskisson Beach”, you’re well placed to take advantage of everything Husky has to offer – from delicious coffee and gelato from a vintage 1954 caravan at Merciers, lunch at the waterfront Huskisson Hotel (since 1932 – same as the Sydney Harbour Bridge!) or revel in the “awesome people, great times and brilliant beer” offered by the ridiculously likeable Jervis Bay Brewing Co. Depending on the time of day, you may also find yourself sipping coffees or cocktails at Serotonin on Currambene. Alternatively, DIY your picnic or beachside feast by stocking up at the Huskisson Markets (2nd Sunday of the month) – a bounty of fresh and local fare.

Need to burn off some of those delicious meals? Hire a bike and explore the coast on two wheels. Of course, if you’d rather ride on water than land, take a trip into the future with a gravity-defying e-foil board via Future Rides Jervis Bay! 

When in Husky, you’ll also find it hard to resist the siren song (it’s actually a dolphin and whale song) of joining one of the award-winning cruises that take you to all corners of the bay all year round.
